The concept

Most type has one shape. Tidal has a depth.

At the surface, its letters are crisp and high-contrast — all light and edge. Push it down and the pressure sets in: strokes thicken, contrast flattens, the forms grow heavy and certain, the way anything does the deeper it goes.
